I read this as “social distancing tool.” 😂 2020 has scarred us for life.
Meltwater recently acquired Sysomos and I’ve been using their new social listening suite. Heads and tails above Brandwatch and Crimson Hexagon.
Love Brandwatch. I find it to be better than the rest. Not a fan of Sprinklr and Pulsar.
I spend more time on there clicking around random shit to see what it does than looking at actual mentions
Brandwatch is good but data export is a bit crap. Social studio is crap when it comes to data accuracy but their export option is amazing.
I demoed meltwater, I think (weird name), a few months ago. Seemed solid.
Meltwater costs an arm and a leg tho.
Our company has tested A LOT of the available tools and for the cost (and flexibility of features), I'd recommend Talkwalker. No question.
Sprinklr is hella basic, Brandwatch is really solid but as someone mentioned, its exports are trash, NetBase is not just basic, but its "Alerts" aren't alerts as much as spam for how erratic they are (NetBase Quid - their new platform - does look better but I've heard it's an arm and a leg), Mention is only useful on Twitter (as most platforms are since Twitter is the most open platform, so nothing special) and SproutSocial has basic Social Listening caps within its Social Management suite, nothing special, but it does the job well.
Oh, and I'm not a fan of the "Intelligence" Suite of Crimson Hexagon. Their dashboards look like Windows NT and their Customer Support aren't the nicest to chat on the phone with.
Just my two cents. :)
This is so interesting because I personally find Talkwalker to be trash haha
I’m personally a fan of a combination of Sprinklr/Brandwatch.
