Why firm is “begging” for employees? I mean firm is now paying more and adding more benefits to show what can employee get and try to keep or attract them. Aren't they know that in a romantic relationship, the more you say “please don't leave me, I will do anything for you ”, the easier the other party to control you? and you will not get respect? I'm an employee wants more, just a question to discuss about the firm's strategy.
Best recent healthcare books related to improving our broken system? Atul Gawande’s books are a bit dated now I think. Just finished An American Sickness again. Thank you!
Honest question: Why most Pharma folks are afraid of using humor or other emotions to sell a brand benefit? This is my second healthcare agency and it’s the same thing. Boring, flat, and serious. I wish it was more creative.
As healthcare providersk, what are your thoughts on masks? Do you think they work or no?
Do Income Partners get compensated the same as equity partners? Do they receive the pension and all of that as well?

I have to rollover my previous Vanguard 401k to my current employer’s plan with Fidelity. Do I have to pay any taxes or penalties if we do that by getting a check from Vanguard and depositing to Fidelity?
How do you guys invest your money? Max 401K?
I should be more sensitive but I think it's fucked up to start a new job and tell your boss after a week that you will be out on maternity leave in 4 months.
Other than higher pay (I didn’t become a lawyer to get rich 🤣) what is the benefit of working for BigLaw, or private practice in general? As a government lawyer, I make 6 figures, have excellent benefits, no billable hours requirements, more time off than I know what to do with (including mental health days), a pension, a 401(K), option to chose whether to WFH or not, no weekend work, no working before 8am or after 5pm. It seems like so many lawyers in private practice are unhappy.
I, a childless woman who does not plan to have kids, am jealous of the parental leave parents get to take from work from choosing to have a child (a big life event). I 100% understand that they are working in a different way by taking care of the baby and being deliriously worn out in the process, but it makes me sort of jealous that unless I have a kid there is no life event that I can take ~3 months away from work to focus on and enjoy, plus have my hours prorated and a job to come back to.
I see RSM has education reimbursement on their website anyone know how much or how it works?
Looking for some guidance about a personal loan for wedding expenses. My fiancé and I are getting married in June and will probably need to take out a loan of about $15-20k to cover the expenses we can't out-of-pocket. Has anyone here done the same and if so, what lender did you use?
Is anyone else sincerely concerned about the healthcare industry and the weight of staffing shortages/people leaving? I'm concerned about a collapse of some kind
Apple Watch owners: why do you have an Apple Watch? What are the benefits/downsides and is it worth it? From what I read, it seems mostly beneficial to track health like a Fitbit?
Hey! I’m wondering how others made the transition from patient care to the business side of healthcare. These past two years have made it abundantly clear that I need a change.

How great would office emojis be in this app?
As I prepared to file my notice, the partner of the firm called me and asked me to stay. They’re willing to promote me mid year in December and increase salary next year in August. The current offer I have gives 60% pay increase and Partner still can’t match that offer after promotion. Firm leadership says here I have potential to be a partner in 8 years and talk about all the leadership support I have rn which is fair. Is this one of their tactics to make me stay or should I just leave…
#honestyhour I have not had sex since I started this insane project a month ago and I legit want to die
Hot take: consultants at MBB have big egos and seem to promote the idea that they're the "best of the best" not realizing that, in 2021, the "best of the best" works in "tech" typically as engineers and consultants are actually just overworked also rans with oversized egos.
Recently inherited ~$5m and finding it very hard to focus on my career. Seems like anything I save is pennies - any ideas on staying motivated?
As someone who grew up with parents who provided for us on $35k a year, I’m so sick of people who post things like “I’m 23 with $200k in savings and a $150k job - is that good?? 🥺🥺” y’all are annoying
I went to the wrong W 😑 I just wanna lay down
My husband Facetimed me and said he was on his way to the FB HH. I noticed he wasn't wearing his wedding ring. Should I be worried?
This Christmas, and in the new year, I just want people to listen rather than patiently wait for their turn to speak. Please.
That awkward situation where your girlfriend works for your firm's largest M&A competitor. #spyvspy
Me: Gives my life to the firm, 14 hr days and weekends crafting deliverables that I get great feedback on. My scatterplot: You’re incompetent and a slacker lol
Chatham Township or Summit?
How do work remotely with client?
Happy double hump day 🐠. For those whose local government will begin easing stay at home orders on May, 1st, hang in there. This is the most extreme hump day you’ll probably ever experience.
First year working and heard you make more in IT consulting than cyber security consulting but in industry don't security professionals make more? Can someone explain this?
Been here for 4 years and been promoted every year; paid well with good benefits. Thinking about going back to school to pursue my passion in healthcare field... am I crazy?
