To ey folks who have experience with GC PERM apps... I joined EY 3 months back as a Senior... my gf didn't get picked 2 back to back years in the lottery with 2021 being her last attempt... thinking of the H4-EAD route for her in case her name is not picked next yr (assuming the H4-EAD still exists)... i understand the rule to qualify is 1 yr on H1B and then approach V&I, talent consultant, counselor, CCL, etc for GC approval... from that pt forward, it's about a year to I140 approval..
When is it ok to change roles because of a difficult leader/manager? I understand we all encounter difficult leaders at some point in our career, but positive self-talk and resilience can only take me so far. I was offered an opportunity to progress my career under his wing but from the moment I started, his leadership style has been damaging to my emotional and mental (and physical) health. Do I shape up? Or is it ok to ship out? I feel like I’m letting myself be defeated if I go.
Hey peers, I’ve done two online interviews,I got invited to visit the agency this Wednesday to meet everyone, any tips, conversation starters or questions to ask . Thanks a lot

How do we think COVID-19 is going to end? A. Vaccine is found B. Testing, social distancing stamps it out C. We develop herd immunity to it D. We learn that it’s not as lethal as previously thought ✅
Folks, why is this Boston Bowl so quiet (relatively speaking)? Is our community so small that we think there’s no anonymity to our posts? Are we so busy juggling (with Covid making it worse) that there’s no time for this? Or are we blissfully happy so not much to question or comment on? I learn much from the conversations in other Bowls and think Boston wisdom would be good to read too.
Hi 🐠 Any lessons learned/tips for finding an industry job? I know it’s a broad question, but have only worked for pwc since grad (7+ years ago), and appreciate any feedback. Process seems daunting.
Is there any way your coworkers could know ahead of time if somebody and who is getting fired soon? Or is it impossible for staffs/seniors to know this?
