Both from a comp and exit opportunity perspective. I heard the big 4 have merged the pay bands that FDD and MC are similar in comp now - wanting to confirm.

Why is it so hard to find a remote HR position? I have my SHRM-SCP, my MBA and over 10 years of experience being an HR Manager.

Why do employers put “Entry Level” and then require a Bachelors degree and 1-5 years of experience? It makes it hard for those of us with 7-10 years of experience to get a position because we don’t have a $150k piece of paper.

UK specific query - If my company cannot find me clients/work and want to dismiss me because they are unable to find work for me at no fault of my own do they have to provide a severance package?
UK law says it’s easy to dismiss employees with less than 2 years service but it’s a big grey area. Anyone got any experience with this?

Rising 4th year here. I’m happy at my current firm, but I hear another firm is planning to try and poach me. Are firms seriously giving cold offers right now? Given the lateral market and that I’m happy where I’m at and have nothing to lose, I’m thinking I’ll ask for a ridiculous signing bonus and just see what happens. Is $100k too big an ask in this market for a rising 4th year? I’ve seen talk of $300k+ signing bonuses being thrown around (likely for more senior associates obviously).

What would be an appropriate range of compensation for a 5th year/6th year associate contemplating a move in house?

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful. I’m in the middle of an interview process for a senior consultant position at a top 10 consulting firm. I just got offered a promotion to engagement lead at my current consulting firm and a significant comp raise. Hi I have an offer at Kroll as an experienced analyst in their Technical Accounting Group. Can anyone please give me insight on their culture and WLB?

Currently a newly promoted audit senior. Been hearing that Deloitte typically only wants to hire people with prior FDD experience in that group. Can people within Deloitte confirm this is becoming the case? Has the window to jump straight from audit narrowed since the past few months, and is there a way to sell myself so I could at least get to the interview phase?

I will be starting in Big 4 FDD as a campus hire. Is the promotional path similar to audit (A1 -> A2 -> S1…) after each year or so?

What are the most valuable analyses you learned in FDD? I’m surprised how much excel data crunching, formatting, and report writing I spend my time on.
