Hello Everyone! It has been three months since we moved after 20+ years in New York City suburbs. We probably bought our home at the peak. However, we are so glad we did it. Austin is a fantastic place and has so much to offer. People are so friendly and interesting. Lot of things to see. We live in Steiner and you can’t really can’t go wrong with bee cave, west lake, Leander or any of these suburbs. I highly recommend a home with a view and going into the city. I feel like I don't fit in with the upper middle class culture of accounting sometimes. I come from a lower middle class family, and it's hard to relate to the things my coworkers talk about - fancy houses, fancy cars, new gadgets that they are getting. I never grew up with those things, so I'm a little lost or it just don't seem that important to me. Perhaps I'm being judgemental, but I don't mean to be, it seems like we just have different priorities. Can anyone relate or have advise?
