🌟FEBRUARY JOB THREAD
Hello everyone , can anybody give a referral for their company, i am looking for a security engineering role, pen testing role.
Looking for some perspective and advice. I’ve moved to an in-house analytics organization for a large fortune 10 company and have prior experience with a big 4 and a startup as head of analytics & data science.
Received an offer at an advertising agency for a senior role (slightly more money) and torn on taking the offer or not. This would be my first stint with an ad agency. Potential reasons against: 1) risk? I’m in the safe side already 2) longer hours? 3) less upside growth potential?
Any *experienced* AE’s here in the cloud/data management/cybersecurity space interested in a new role?
Veeam, Rubrik, Dell, EMC, IT MSP background is a plus
Happy to refer
SaT requirements at EY. Hiring agressively. If you have deal experience across different functions, CDD, ODD or FDD reah out.
I’m new to the US after working in London with KPMG and most recently a Corporate Development role.
I’m looking to get back into FDD with a firm and have applied for a couple of roles in the last two weeks… but still have not heard anything back. What is the usual response time?
I’m based in Colorado and if anyone knows a need of help, I’m here and ready! Referrals welcome :)
Anyone with 7+ years of experience looking to go in-house with a ~$16B tier 1 auto mfg company? Generalist commercial role, probably director level but I’m not 100% sure. Not posted yet.
Looking to apply for a manager role in my team. Any tips for the interview?
Whats your biggest challange as a manager?
What do you enjoy most?
How do you manage your friends/people who used to be in your team?
It's been couple of months I joined CTS and wanted to know if I decide to move out will I have to service 90 days notice period? Also, please feel free to share the best way to exit in case if I have to.
Much appreciate all your responses.
I started an in-house role about 5 months ago and I still don’t have enough work. I feel like I’m constantly flagging that I have capacity, but nothing has changed. Given the state of the economy, I’m getting worried about layoff and have started looking for new jobs. Any recs for how to spin my quick departure in interviews? Is being honest and talking about low volume okay?
Do ey has good data science projects on going as I have seen they did so much hiring for data scientist/data engineers in past 2 months?
Need a clarification !
If I join Shell on Aug 1,2022 …Will I be considered for Dec rating cycle ? and will I get Hike on Feb,2023?
Hiring manager told that I will be eligible for Dec rating and decreased my CTC saying your Pir will be high ..
Confusion is Will I be eligible for the rating as I will be in probation period in shell during Dec.
Give notice or ask to renegotiate? Recently interviewed for a comparable role and received an offer of ~16% higher than current comp. I enjoy my role, but the new company seems to have better career progression opportunities. Do I just give notice and expect them to attempt to retain, or do I go in asking to more comp to stay?
How is the software engineer position in Technology and Digital division of Mckinsey knowledge center? I have similar offer from Qualcomm so confused where to go.
Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. Any insight on the interview process or how long it takes or any sort of idea to give me on what I could look for that might help me believe I might get an offer? Checked my online application again recently and still says “In Consideration”
Anyone have a referral for Nationwide, looking at a client relationship manager position there
Does someone know what total comp range would be for a technical sales AE role for big pharma in Canada?
Where do people from top PE/VC/GE funds want to exit? Most IB/Consulting folks seem to want to exit to buy side if they can so curious where those in PE/VC try to exit to or do most tend to stay put
Posting on my wife’s behalf - We recently moved to the US and she is currently looking for a good role in HR consulting. She has previously worked with KPMG, McKinsey, Korn Ferry and WTW in Talent and Org. consulting practices in India for about 12 years. She also recently cleared her SPHR certification. It will be a great help if anyone can refer or aware of any job openings in NYC area. Thanks!
I have a client in Barbados who's married to an Australian, who was recently divorced.
She advises that the order for dissolution was made 17 September, 2021.
She advises that they own joint property, and have a 6 year old child.
The client will need to make an application in Australia for Contact and Property Settlement.
At this stage, the client does not have resources to pay an attorney, and we're trying to facilitate contact with an attorney on the legal aid panel or an attorney who will ac

Anyone joining deloitte usi at 1st Nov, did you receive any communication from business or any onboarding details?
Full timer here (writer). Have never freelanced. Always wondered ...
Is there extra pressure to perform each and every day on a freelance gig? Seems too much of a pressure chamber to me. I suppose it depends on the gig, but as a writer, I'd be of little use if I'm not submitting killer stuff each time - Scripts, lines, tags, manifesto. Like you can't have an "off day" it all you are there for is your word docs, rights?
Whereas an AD can be a killer thinker, but in a pinch, can be a deck builder (extra hands) type of helper.
I gave interview at Nagarro in November but could not clear it. Can I give it again?
I’m new to the IT field as a business analyst. Any advice on how I can become a great BA?
My boyfriend and I were supposed to move to Honk Kong last summer, but we decided to postpone because of the COVID situation. We now feel like it’s a good moment to start thinking about it again. Has anyone moved to HK recently? Or have been living there for a while? I’d like to know what the current situation/lifestyle is !
I recently ended a three-year relationship and are looking to move to a new city to start fresh. I’m looking for an affordable city with good nature perks (mostly hiking, camping). With PwC’s wfh policy I’m able to not go to the office. However, I’m still early in my career and I still would like to stay reasonably close to a PwC office. I’m really interested in SLC, but I’ve also seen people saying it’s kind of conservative. I’m Asian and non US citizen so that’s why I have concerns.
Looking to move to a new apartment soon. Any suggestions for luxury, updated, and fairly new 1BD/1BA with at least 670 sqft. in nice and safe areas in DC? By fairly new I mean built after 2018. Pool, gym, and parking in the building are necessary as well. Budget is $2.1K, not including utilities and parking fees. Thanks!
This from the WHO, today. It took them until now to tell us what Captain Obvious advised 3 months ago.
Coronavirus: WHO advises to wear masks in public areas
I’ve accepted an offer to start at a new consultancy Oct. 1
Current employer’s contract requires 1mo notice. I’d have liked to give my notice today (Aug 1) so that I can potentially take a month off between jobs, but my direct manager is on vacation until next week and I’ve only accepted the offer letter, not signed the employment contract.
Bad move to give advanced notice?
I’m pretty central to much of my team & department’s operations, so I want to ensure ample time for handover of tasks.
A&M 🐠- is it normal for the offer letter to only state the base comp but say the year end bonus is up to discretion? I hear there are high bonuses but was surprised that it’s not in the offer letter.
How much should a TV producer be paid a year? I've been working as a digital producer for 2 years now and I've been traveling for the last 4 years, so I'm not sure what would be a fair payment in the US for a TV producer. Any comment will be extremely helpful.
How the Project is allocated to Lateral Assistant Consultant at TCS after joining?
I have been interviewed by a manager and client separately during my interview process with TCS. Will I be allocated in the same project?
What's your location, YOE, position, and salary?
I just started at my company as an HR Manager, I report to the Dir. Of Operations. I have my first investigation and it appears that a Manager that also reports to the Dir. Of Ops will be the subject of the investigation. I want to confirm that the Dir. Of Ops should not be included in this investigation at all until my investigation is complete and an outcome is determined, correct?
