I’ve been working in the HR space and am interested in pursuing an MBA to transition into Human Capital consulting/ Change management/ Talent technology and analytics. I’ve been seeing a few T30 schools that have a focus in those areas including Vanderbilt, Rice, BYU etc. Would it be better to pursue an MBA program highly ranked in that concentration area or to try to get into a school ranked higher overall? Thanks!

Relatively new post-MBA hire here and I’m having second thoughts about getting into consulting. I miss my old industry gig and the predictability it brought (ironically the reason I pivoted). For those who went through something like this and stuck it out, does it get better? How long did it take you to adjust?

6 YoE in digital marketing, + 2 in business + Master's (not MBA). Not super technical, but I'm a functional subject matter expert (easily top 5% in North America, probably higher) in one DM field. Any specific areas to make sure I upskill to check the right box? Any tips on how to make it work?

Currently pursuing a MBA, and am deciding which focus areas to take. I am trying to pivot from UX design to product in tech. Ideal sector: FinTech Current sector: Mobile Gaming Related sectors: Entertainment, Edutainment, e-Commerce, Social Aiming at head of product or head of design as long term goal. If only 2 focuses, would you pick Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Innovation, or Global Challenges in Business? Advice appreciated!

He assumed I took the leave for mental health reasons although I never mentioned that to him). A question for Big 4 peeps - if you know the salary range in the group you wanna go for is 150k to 170k, how much should you say when the HR asks you how much you want? Is 180k too much to start with? (Didn’t want to start with 170k since they will only come back with lower I assume)
