Big 4 Diligence S1 Offer @ 105k base in West HCOL (non - SF) this good or am I getting low balled? Deloitte EY PwC KPMG
I’m in my 2nd year in audit. I want to pivot into management consulting within a big 4 or MBB. Has anyone seen someone make this lateral movement? I’m not sure how feasible that is and what steps to take. I’m also down to discuss further with whoever is comfortable in connecting.
Thinking about going back to school to get a masters in business analytics or data science in California. Anyone leave public acct/ big 4 to do this? Worth it? Thoughts/comments appreciated. Hoping it leads to better pay/ better wlb/ more interesting work

To those who went from B4 to a mid tier/regional firm - do you have lighter hours or is it the same crap? Tax service line.
Big 4 vs Goldman Sachs? Current an as in big 4 for implementation but got an offer from gs to work on the Apple Card. Honestly after working at big 4 and telling people where I work no one knows of it unless they are biz/fnce/acct majors or background. I feel like gs esp Apple Card will be a big boost in my resume. Not sure which offer to take - similar salary. Anyone know which one might be a better choice?
My friend was hired for the management consulting team in one of the big 4 for a new service line that was incorporated this year. He joined in April 2021. Since then he has been put on bench with no actual projects. Only training and few support projects without any actual hours. How do you think it will effect his career? Do you think he should start applying outside?
Have an offer from a big 4 for supply chain consulting (Consultant level, above senior analyst). Would I be crazy to leave proctor for this?
I started at B4, about 3 months ago. Spent about 1.75 years at JPM and 2 years at another company. Graduated undergrad college 2017. Job hopper vibes. Anyway I make $120k and just got at offer to join Facebook, base $195k. I’d like to get my MBA but afraid if I accept the offer I’ll be labeled a job hopper.
Anyone switch firms among the big 4 and felt you were performing exceedingly well, even though you didn’t really doing anything different in your previous big 4 firm to begin with? Want to understand if its the firm rather than the individual sometimes.
Where do B4 people live in NYC? Moving there next month as senior associate in advisory and looking for ideas
Why do many tax lawyers end up going to Big 4 firms and act like a know-it-all - when they are actually law firm rejects??

Okay so I recently got into Booth off the waitlist (so so stoked, my first choice) with no scholarship but have accepted an offer to Tuck with a 30k scholarship. Post MBA goals are MBB. Leaning hard on Booth but is there any chance they’d swing a scholarship at this point in the game?
A non-consulting cloud engineer friend of mine is being recruited by Mckinsey digital. Does anyone here know if their work is any good for someone who is really into the tech and really not into generalist consulting? And how their digital practice compares to our tech cloud practice?
Apologies if this may be a dumb question but for applying through the Consortium, can the mission recommender be also the same as your professional recommender or do they need to be different people?

Ladies, do you ever have sex dreams with someone other than your partner? I have these vivid dreams from time to time, and it seems like I have them even more frequently when I'm pregnant. I wake up feeling a big, overwhelming mix of guilty and wanting to jump my husband's bones. Does anyone else have this as well? Curious how it makes you feel and if you think it means something.

Do recruiters or interviewers typically outright ask where else you are interviewing? Or is that out of the norm?
Just remember all of your friends and co-workers that were sacrificed last year for the sake of award entry fees.
