Feeling a bit overwhelmed in my new role. Came from an old school way of EA supporting where technology tools where sparse and the environment was more paper driven and face to face contact. I have moved to a new EA role with less personal contact and highly digital. Most of the software used I am not familiar with completely foreign to me. What do I do? Do I sit it out and push myself or do I start looking for something else that is more of a fit?

Total Pkg - 255K(Base - 136K,MBO - 9K,Commision - 49K,RSU - 60K/4year).

Hey All. I had my 2nd round interviews for a Lead Solution Engineer role at Salesforce on Monday (2 days ago). It was w/ 2 separate SEs, and I thought both interviews went very well. Have yet to hear from the recruiter, though, which seems odd. Especially given how responsive the recruiter's been prior to this.

Is that normal? Do I just need to be patient or should I mentally prepare for a rejection? Thanks!

A friend has been offered a role as an independent contractor commercial counsel for a pre IPO tech company in NYC (roughly 10-20 hrs/wk) with the possibility of becoming a full time offer. A colleague I worked with who was technically unskilled and not client facing copied my resume bullets word for word. Have you all ever had a mental roadblock making you less productive? If so how did you handle it? I've been pretty concerned about my health lately as I've been in and out of the hospital the last month. So far my tests have come back as normal and doctors are pointing it towards anxiety which is something that I'm not used to having. At the moment I am ok, but I feel like I could do more for my two General Managers if I didn’t have to general office and staff management like onboarding.

The teams are: 1 General Manager is a team of 23 people all based in the same state. The other is a team of 40 people (75% based in same state, 25% based in another state.

Does anyone else struggle when communicating with their exec? Mine is someone who you need to ask lots of questions to because they change their minds every second but then they don’t respond when I ask. I’ve tried to have daily catch ups but they’re always cancelled and I just feel so unmotivated, like no matter what I can’t do a good job, so why even bother? It’s so hard to be a good EA when you can’t make decisions on your own.
