So it’s hard to say since this is pretty uncharted territory. For example, how do we build the same sense of community among the intern class as well as between interns and their project teams when we’re all virtual. In terms of full time offers, I have no idea why we haven’t done what other firms have done. Maybe because our demand is less certain relative to other firms? If it makes you feel any better, we haven’t laid anyone off...yet

Yikes well I heard Bain switched their stance and offered guaranteed full-time after seeing what the other firms are doing... Hoping you guys have a similar change of heart! Glad to hear the firm seems to be doing well though. You happen to know which verticals are doing relatively better or worse?

I thought full-time offers were guaranteed?

Job for fresher or internship? In JavaScript or PHP. My wife has completed Master's in Math (2019). She wants to start her career in IT. She has completed HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP (All at basic level). She has also created some small projects for learning. Does anyone has any references for internship or job as a fresher? Many companies asks to complete some assignment in some framework, like code igniter or some other. I think, as a fresher this is little bit tricky at the beginning.

I’m a late 40’s, 3rd year Partner in Big4 who joined as a DEMD after 2 decades in industry. I’m weighing an offer to join another Firm - it’s a straight comp play for 30% higher Comp for a similar role. I realize that the BS is mostly the same at all B4, so I don’t think for a second the grass is greener. But the comp is nice, and I’m not vested enough to lose much money. Did anyone here make a similar jump to another Firm, and in the end, was it a genius move, or did you come to regret it?
