Please stop blaming yourself. There could be so many reasons this happened, unrelated to things you are able to control. Don’t lose hope. Work with your doctor to find a solution. And please don’t be so hard on yourself. Sending you best wishes!
Was this your first round? Every woman is different and often the protocol needs to be slightly adjusted and the first round is almost like a feeler to see what specific protocol would work best. My wife had 12 eggs first round only one made it to normal blastocyst. 2nd round our results were better

Feeling depressed is a total valid and normal feeling during this process. There are times that we just feel so defeated. But don't blame yourself for it. You change it for the better, the work that you put into, is not only for the future baby, but also your own personal health. There are so many things that affect the outcome, it can be the quality or sometimes it can be the lab. We wouldn't know for sure, so please don't blame yourself. I only have 5 mature eggs retrieved, and only have one embryo beat the odds. Just take a deep breath, and believe you're stronger than you think. Don't give up just yet.

I’m so sorry. I know how defeating that can feel. Before my 3rd round I did the same thing - really focused on my health, sleep, nutrition. I was feeling really good and thought that would lead to better results. That was my absolute worst round with no genetically normal embryos. I was so frustrated and angry, especially because I had made those lifestyle changes apparently for nothing. But then rounds 4 and 5 were great. So it can be quite random. Don’t give up yet!
I would definitely have your partner take a DNA Fragmentation test ( if you have not already). Sometimes male factor issues cannot be detected in a standard semen analysis. My husband is taking one this week due to our poor IVF outcome. I was on a strict supplement protocol. I produced 22 eggs, 16 mature. Zero blast🥴
Hang in there though. It’s a brutal, miserable journey with lots of blood sweat and tears but you’ll get there. You need to think positively and have faith
Don’t worry.. at the end of the day you just need one. Hope this one makes it for you!
Thank you everybody for your kind words. It’s really given me strength during this tough time. My husband is going to take the DNA fragmentation test for sure and then we’ll gather our resources and strength and try one more round (this would be round 3).
