I’m so so sorry that you are going through this. Breaks my heart to hear all the pain you are feeling. Key thing here is to focus on yourself. Don’t worry about powering through it and being strong, you need to do a couple things to help yourself personally/physically heal from this. First, take some time off. Take a day, take a week, you need to distance yourself from this. Find a confidant that you can vent to. Honestly, I’ve had a couple breakdown sessions with some of my coworkers and talking it out actually helped. People around you might be going through something similar. It might even help to reach out to a family member for support. Find a leader you can talk to. Lots of people in leadership are willing to help, you just need to book time and talk it through. Look into your firm’s leave of absence. It might take some significant time off to make you feel better. Book time with a therapist. Talkspace is a great resource and has qualified people that can help you through. I hope some of this helps. Stress puts us through some real pain. Hope things get better OP ❤️

In a similar situation. Not much else to say other than you are not alone and I’m really sorry you are going through this.

Thanks. Sorry for you too. No one should have to fee so much stress in their job.

What level are you? Have you spoken to your project lead? Client account lead?

I would want to see and hear the behavior from the client and determine if the client was truly out of line, if there was a generational gap or if the SA was being over sensitive to the situation. In all three of those scenarios rolling off would be an option. HOWEVER, If you shared with me that you were experiencing mental / physical issues due to working with a specific person I would work to find you a new role immediately especially if the chance of the client changing was low.

I’ve been in similar situation in the past…not worth it. I would roll off the project as quickly as possible. Your personal health and how it impacts the people in your life is more important than a client. Just let the partner know…give them a deadline on how long before you get off…with or without any back fill.

Need advice for resigning while on bench. I already have a start date with the new employer. Should I do a traditional two week notice or give <=1 week notice instead? My goal is to not burn bridges, but I also don’t want to get let go on the spot since I have nothing to “wrap up” besides HR tasks. I’ve read on here that sometimes they will let you go day of and pay you out for two weeks but I don’t see why any firm would do that for somebody not currently performing billable work...

Hi, I am hired as senior test engineer for automation testing profile in EY AND WIPRO The reason I am not selecting EY is just because I don't have any practical exposure working in automation testing and I am afraid that it's better to work in Wipro and get practical exposure and then try for big brands like EY. Also, in EY I will be asked to work in client location. Where I might get into difficult situation Anyone would like to comment on this? Is my decision of selecting wipro correct?

So I am in a unique situation from a supply chain standpoint. Client has a Make to Order product, with a backlog up to next year so in theory life should be easy. Except the current Supply Chain environment means the amount of past dues are racking up and the production schedule keeps falling wildly behind and catching up because impossible because the schedule is packed at capacity. I have some ideas to help them, but I would love to find some good reading on MTO best practices and scheduling.

Is the MBB name really worth it over Big4, T2, Boutiques in terms of exit opps? Would love to hear from experienced hires who have insight into both types of exits (MBB vs other) to better comp and wlb (tech is ideal but any industry works). I know type of case work factors heavily into opportunities but how much does the MBB name really open? Is that name recognition worth leveling down to grind for another few years?
