Fell down the stairs 4 months ago. Finally went to the dr and X-ray shows it’s not broken, but sitting & going from sitting to standing is EXTREMELY painful (in tailbone area). Idk where to go from here…. Dr has been useless. Any thoughts or experiences?

Maybe go see a chiropractor?

Did you get an MRI to check for any soft tissue damage? Also have heard that pelvic floor therapists can be helpful.

Recommend going to see a PT for sure! If nothing is broken then it’s probably something muscular 🙏🏻

Tailbone injury takes forever to heal! Try aleve or advil for pain/inflammation

Echoing that tailbone injuries take f o r e v E r to heal. I had a donut shaped pillow I sat on that helped me.

Another vote for tailbones take forever to improve and seeing a PT and getting on a regular regimen of tylenol or ibu can help. I can't take ibu but when I shattered my ankle I took tylenol round the clock every 6 hours and it does help if you keep it up.

💲For those who DON'T think a six figure salary is possible:

👉Just ask for it. Really, you would be surprised. Might be easier to switch to a new company and ask. I did that 3 years into my career.

And 🛑 wasting your time at a company that under-values you severely. Sometimes switching companies every 2 years or so will allow you to keep raising the bar for yourself.

What is a useful, comprehensive but not too long of a book for parenting toddlers?

LO is 16 months old, very sweet and social, at the park every day with other kids with either me or her nanny. Not in day care. Yesterday we had a play date and she slapped another baby on the head. Not hard and did not scare her, but the act of “aggression” took me by surprise and I felt terrible about it. I’d like to be more proactive about toddler psychology, what’s to come and how to react/ teach. TY!

Hey ladies. I had a miscarriage July 2021 and my cycle started back up not long after. Then in January it just stopped. It’s been 3 months without my period and not sure what could be causing it (I’m not pregnant). My diet hasn’t changed and neither has my activity. I run marathons but I’ve been doing that for years now and it’s never impacted my period prior. I have an appointment to see my OB in a week but wondering if any of you experienced this.

I (36F) am married to another woman (34F) and we have a baby (5moF). We split all childcare, cleaning, meal prep, errands etc fairly evenly and it works well. Maybe she cooks more than I do bc she likes it, and I clean more bc I need to have a clean house. My friend (35F) recently took a business trip and literally put a binder together with instructions for her husband re: daycare drop off and pick up, what to feed the kids, when to take out the trash and so on. Not sure what the best path forward is but just got out of a week of in person meetings- did not want to go but was told that it would be a bad look to not go (I operate somewhat outside of my business group) by my mgr and mgr said it was important for us to meet for us to feel more comfortable working together. I then go and mgr avoids me the entire time (after requests to meet and level set on priorities). Do I address head on? It felt physically uncomfortable to be around this person.
