I definitely find value in customer engagement. To me, it really brings everything together and makes my own work feel more meaningful.
From what I've seen, it is more engaging for my team to work on those types of projects which increases productivity
As a team we value customer engagement because that's ultimately who we're developing things for. I think it helps give you context and understand what to priortise
