I started my firm recently (immigration) and am a true solo. I have experience in a few very specific case types and do lots of research, but don't have enough experience to easily strategize for each consult. I know this will come in time as I do more types of cases and have a background of knowledge to pull from, but I need to grow my business too. I’ve been telling candidates “the starting base for this role is x but is dependent on the interview” obviously they think what I’ve provided is what they’ll get.
