Fellow lady 🐠🐟🐡, do you have a certified financial planner you trust? I'm looking for one in the DC metro region and don't know where to start!

My company offered to pay my way through the CFP program, on the contingency that I will pass and also stay with them for 10 years after the fact. Is this normal? It seems unfair to make me pay them back down the road if I decide to take a better opportunity. It’s a small business that is worried I will leave.

What is a good website to compare financial advisor options? I’m looking at individual profiles on NAPFA and CFP but I am not getting a good sense of which firms / agents are better than others.

How much can I negotiate in a new entry-level role with same company? I've been in a training program for a year at a bank making 50k. I have my MBA and they have agreed to pay for my CFP. I am about to get a new role in the Trust department as an admin assistant to learn...what should my salary expectation be? What can I realistically negotiate?

CFP designation even though not a fee base planner. Do you see any conflicts of interest/ misleading? Should a CFP be required to be a fee based planner?

I don't have anyone else who gets this, but I hit my personal goal this year in almost every category; revenue, income, AUM growth, etc. Our fiscal year ends in October and I ended the year with a bang. Just super excited and I hope everyone else knows, this business is worth it when you put in the time and effort! Edit: also passed CFP in March!
