I don’t recommend anything other than Briggs and Riley.
Tumi isn’t Tumi since they were sold. Quality is down and the warranty is just ordinary
You can buy travel pro, but you’re probably not getting the same bag the pilots use and it doesn’t have a true lifetime warranty. There is a pilot supply store inside Cincinnati airport. I was in there other day and a pilot was complaining about the bag he had recently bought, the guy was giving him about 50% toward a new one.
If there’s another brand, I don’t know it
The Travelpro platinum elite line is really great, moderately priced, and has lifetime warranty including carrier-caused damages. If you haven’t given this a look yet I highly recommend you do so. They have a good display at the NYC Macy’s and I’m sure at other outlets too
Go look at all 3...I have Briggs and Tumi. Briggs is great value (less expensive) but Tumi is lighter and weight sometimes matters
Search this bowl. This is exact question is frequently asked and there’s a lot of good thought already out there.
Briggs and Riley.
Also just try Tumi Outlets. They have them plus not bad stuff
