Fellow traveling consultants - I am planning to replace my existing cabin bag and laptop bag. What bag brands or specific bags do you recommend other than Tumi, Briggs & Riley & TravelPro?

I don’t recommend anything other than Briggs and Riley.

Tumi isn’t Tumi since they were sold. Quality is down and the warranty is just ordinary

You can buy travel pro, but you’re probably not getting the same bag the pilots use and it doesn’t have a true lifetime warranty. There is a pilot supply store inside Cincinnati airport. I was in there other day and a pilot was complaining about the bag he had recently bought, the guy was giving him about 50% toward a new one.

If there’s another brand, I don’t know it

like

The Travelpro platinum elite line is really great, moderately priced, and has lifetime warranty including carrier-caused damages. If you haven’t given this a look yet I highly recommend you do so. They have a good display at the NYC Macy’s and I’m sure at other outlets too

Go look at all 3...I have Briggs and Tumi. Briggs is great value (less expensive) but Tumi is lighter and weight sometimes matters

Search this bowl. This is exact question is frequently asked and there’s a lot of good thought already out there.

Let’s say you’re looking to transform your fitness - lose weight, tone, stay generally healthy. I know diet is more important than exercise. Would you then first focus on your diet and build sustainable changes before getting to exercising? Or would you do both but focus more on diet? If the latter, how do you avoid getting overwhelmed with so many changes? And this is for a long-term ‘feel-good’ kinda lifestyle, not just for immediate weight loss

Why does the street, and people in general, care so much about the technicality & formal announcement of a recession (2quarters of negative GDP)? Why does nobody think this narrowly and wait till data release day and then finally screech "wE aRe iN a RecEsSioN"

Good Day to all,

Would like to know how recruiters get compensated? I am asking because it seems a lot of (not all) the recruiters especially the once from India are trying to get me at a lower salary then is actually being offered by the companies they are representing.
