Seriously find someone in your life that could use $500 and give it to them - then buy a nice Kate Spade for yourself. If you don't know a nanny, or single mom with three kids, or someone with a disability - all just trying to make ends meet, then you need to branch out. You will feel so much happier and you'll have a lovely bag as well.
Hermès and Chanel have consistently been ranked a better investment than gold by economists. A jumbo flap Chanel might be a bit more but worth it. Also, if you know anyone in Oregon you can get them to pick it up for you at the local Nordstrom and not pay sales tax. Also the Chloe saddle bags and Stella McCartney are very chic imo.

Thank you all for your awesome suggestions! I'm going to look into all of these bags and pick the one that best suits me :) although I was annoyed by the first few replies I decided to ignore the haters. I have been saving Nordstrom gift cards and other stuff so that I'll be paying very little out of pocket - but I don't think I need to explain any further or justify myself. Someone here said it right #unconciousbias.

LV Neverfull MM. It will hold its value and can always be resold. Everything Iâve read said the classic LV, Chanel, and Hermès bags are the best investments and will hold or increase in value.
