A lot to unpack here...
Oh, dear...you’d be surprised how many normal people who aren’t Instagram famous are getting facial work done. It’s much more normalized as long as you keep what you’re doing looking as natural as possible.
Yes - Botox and under-eye filler to fix my “tired all the time” look. It’s very common, and you can get it done in a 30 minute dermatologist appointment. I very rarely wear makeup now, which has been a big timesaver.
Male partner here, I've had zero work done and don't intend to ever have work done. I plan to age 100% naturally.
That said, just about every day when I see my stubborn love handles in the mirror (seriously, even when I have a defined six pack they're still there!), I have idle fantasies about doing lipo and getting rid of them. 🤣
Hmm.
Male. I do not have any work. Have considered getting my teeth done. Do it because you want to, not because it’s “ok” for professionals.
Of course, any facial work carries the risk that it is overdone and becomes obvious. Once that happens, it is hard to correct. But only strangers will judge and their opinions should be weightless.
Look into Sculptra
Don’t ask the group, if you want to get Lopo done go ahead i have friends who are male got lipo, hair fillers cheek fillers etc. find the right doctor.
Female - and no work done. Not planning to ever.
I’ve had Lipo done— great decision because I feel better about my shape.
I’ve been getting botox and fillers since my early 30s just to keep my wrinkles from settling in. It’s a 1-hour appointment every 18 months. I had a lot of issues with my smile lines and it smooths them out. A week or two after I get them, I notice a lot of people complimenting me on looking “fresher”. And, I like what I see in the mirror a lot better.
Name of the game here is “aging gracefully” not “augmenting”.
