Hi All,
Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.
Does anyone has idea on this? Can I believe this and include 70% variable in my take home

I was in similar position, I did switch and my teammate is still rotting there. Thanks to him, I got 70% hike and escaped the toxic environment. He became a lead eventually with 15% hike and hell lot of responsibilities

Don't rely on anything other than your work. There are many toxic work buddies who will want you to rally against the leadership and take a quiet step back and be the good guys once you charge ahead. Its tough but open your lines to lead and the skip level lead, let them know you are ready for any clarification so there is no ambiguity anywhere.
No problem, seen politics in all offices I worked. Learnt it the hard way. Most hard is keeping it civil but it is the most important.
Don't think about what would happen to someone else. Does it matter if he/she switches or not. You're in a position that you would know the best, not your colleagues, not your manager.
