Amex people thoughts on this offer, as I have recently(4 months back) joined a startup with Base(33) and CTC(35.5) but not enjoying the work here. Amex brand tag and culture is good.
Hence, considering the offer, does this offer look good or is there any scope of improvement? Amex American Express

Frankly, it’s a silly job that most people find superficial, materialistic, and manipulative. Having conversations about advertising is just about the most mundane and privileged thing you could be doing. Listen to your peers with an open mind and be frustrated about the stuff that matters.
It’s also humbling.
I had an old roommate who assured me I needed a Superbowl ad.
I told her I wasn't all that concerned (I do more digital, experiential, non traditional than tv)
She looked me dead in the eye and reaffirmed "NO! YOU NEED A SUPERBOWL AD"
If you're trying to convince someone of the importance of advertising, please stop.
It’s frustrating because they point out how ridiculous and self important you are and you are not ready to hear that? Look, it’s not the “cool” job anymore. You have an office job, nothing more nothing less.

Literally everyone I tell I’m in advertising (as a creative) says, wow, cool. That’s generally the end of the conversation tho.
And vice versa
My friends not in advertising ask me why I’m not in tech all the time. The industry just isn’t as cool anymore to outsiders.
