Take k-NN for example, a technique often used for supervised learning. As a default, it often uses euclidean distance.
By itself, a great distance measure.
Knowing when to use which distance measure can help you go from a poor classifier to an accurate model.

Our firm went from Clio to Practice Panther now we are transitioning back to Clio for lead management and case management.
With panther we used lawmatics for lead management. So transitioning back to Clio makes it a one stop shop.
No strong opinion really. We got a better deal with Clio. Panther gave us to some technical issues here and there but nothing major. Clio and panther are widely similar.
I’ve used Clio grow and it’s predecessor Lexicata. Great program, but you have have have to build out your templates or it’s worthless
