BIA Briefs: I’m an associate at an immigration law firm. I determined that immigration isn’t for me So I gave the managing partner my 2 weeks. He wants me to wrap up some BIA briefs before I leave however I’m reviewing the record for a lot these and I’m seeing that a lot of the arguments for Asylum, Withhold, and CAT are incomplete. How I’m going to argue that the IC abused its discretion or misapplied the law when we made a facially insufficient argument for relief?

Hi, I’ve completed 3 years as H1B and just received extension for the next 3 years. My employer will file prevailing wage with the DOL in the next 3 months in EB3. I have heard that some FAANG companies start filing GC within 3 months of joining. I’m already studying to switch jobs. How much time do I have to switch jobs so that there is adequate time left for GC application?

Picking a country to live and work in: my spouse is a Mexican citizen (with US green card) who works in Mexico City, and I'm a US citizen. We want to live together, but my spouse has great career opportunities in tech in MC, and finding a job in the US has been hard. I could likely get a job in MC, but I don't speak Spanish and my income would be much lower. How should we handle the decision of who moves where?
