Final round McK interview today, so stressed out x.x

Hey all, having issues with interviewing this year. I’ve been passed over every opportunity I really want and I’m unsure how to regroup and move forward. I’m really trying to break into method development roles and I haven’t had the opportunity to do so with my analytical experience. A lot of my HPLC and LCMS experience is with already established methods. Any tips?

Whys everyone going to inhouse? Is it really that great?

Just got off of an interview for inhouse. Seems like you do everything every area of law imaginable and with little to no support staff. And no other associates. Just you and someone more senior. Seems like so much work and no billable but it would come out to 2100+

Hi, I’m currently working in Infosys (4 YOE). Now I have two offers one from Eurofins(14LPA) and one from EY(16LPA). I wanted to get placed in Product Based. I gave interview in EY thinking its product based but just came to know its service based. Please advise whether I should go for Eurofins as its a product based or EY as its a better offer. When I joined my company, I was brought on as an assistant for a former employee who taught me everything I know about my role. I came with on no prior insurance experience but caught on quick. How do you all get around the culture of “nice” in corporate America? I’ve gotten feedback that I could stand to be more direct in my communication, but when I try to do so over email or calls, it’s not received well.

You don’t want to miss one of the greatest job market in decades. Challenge yourself to get aspirational roles that you have been thinking, at least 1.5 to 2 times money, and better WLB. You might get all of these. Even if you get one of the above, it’s still a win. Good luck!

MBB Human Capital or FAANG Product Manager? Both are in NYC and compensation is similar. I have 7YOE in risk management at an industry specific (tech) boutique investment bank.

Really struggling dealing with challenging team member. Team of 10, I am the manager, we have a senior team member who is independent contractor that has very strong personality and causes a lot of stress and fire drills across the team.
