Is anyone the only EA/Operations Manager for a small company (less than 50)? How do you manage?

I’ve received an offer to be an OM at a startup but will also have EA duties. Frankly, over the course of the interviews, the job description has changed several times. It appears I would be expected to help 3 C-suite, the VP Operations, and some of the BizDev team (assuming I accept of course).

I left my job after 5 years to start a new job closer to home about 8 months ago. I’m now regretting my decision as I’m not happy with the new company. I’ve decided to start looking again for new job. Should I show my current job on my resume and how should I explain my reason for wanting to search for a new job without sounding unreliable?

Had titles of UXD and IXD working on enterprise applications in agencies, mostly related to financial services/asset management. I want to step away & join a product team for SaaS/emerging tech, but I got an offer for a Design Lead role at a financial services company a headhunter submitted me for.

Will accepting it pigeonhole my career? Certainly don’t want to entertain banking or financial services after even if it goes well, but the title will finally move me up to the sr/lead level

1. B2B product company (~200 people), recently acquired by a bank in Canada. Senior product designer of their new major feature. Got to lead 2 designers. Base salary 100k + 10k signing bonus. Bonus is not guaranteed. 15 PTO.
