Can someone explain reversing entries .. say you incur an expense of 10k and haven’t received an invoice in January. So you’d DR 10K exp, CR 10K accrued exp. then beG February the reversal occurs so now you have have the entry DR. Accrued 10k, CR exp 10k. Then the invoice comes mid-feb and you DR exp for 10k, CR AP 10k….. so the expense was appropriately captured in Jan and nets to zero in February but now you have a credit of 10k in accrueds sitting January books and a debit of 10k for …
