I’m trying to land a job in healthcare administration. I have my master’s degree, but I have only 2 years of professional experience. The jobs I have seen ask for 5+ years of experience, is experience weighted more than my masters? Is it about paying dues before landing a job? Or am I looking at the wrong places?

I am thinking of leaving my stable full time job for a contract position (ongoing with no time frame) for a bigger raise (making an exra $20/hour) with a large tech company. I'll still get benefits through Aquent so it's not a huge loss. It just feels risky in terms of being a contractor and the potential for it to end at anytime. Seems like a good opportunity though to get my foot in the door and potentially apply for full time jobs later on

I lost a baby at full term pregnancy (no genetic cause) and we are ready to plan for a second one. I am wanting to go through IVF because the genetic testing would rule out any bad surprises that could come later and also my husband and me are carriers for AMD. I am lost where to even start from. Would I need a referral for IVF? Will I be paying all the cost? My husband’s company has a plan but I don’t know if we would need to qualify?

Interviewed for 2 jobs I am highly interested in. One offered the job already, but the other one hasn’t made a decision yet but should this week. I have until tomorrow to accept the offer but would like to work for the other company if the compensation package is better. Any advice? I don’t want to accept and then have to cancel, but there’s no guarantee the other job will hire me either. 😩

It was always clear to many that the traitor was a demagogue who used the misfortunes of the struggling Americans to further his political (and other) fortunes. Those frustrated with difficulties in their lives found an “outspoken” voice in him. Regardless of the political theatre put up by the traitor, it’s no doubt that many Americans have struggled, economically, for years. And politicians have often overlooked serving the suffering corners of the populace, in a bid to retain power.
