The owner states that the values are important to her etc yet my manager violates these values and is involved in unethical behavior frequently. Example 1: My manager has told specialists (resourcers) that she will pay them under the table in order for her (manager) to get full credit vs splitfor the placement and therefore (barely) hit her target for the quarter.

So possibly silly refinancing question: my understanding of refinancing is that if interest rates lower, you basically start a new mortgage with a new bank at lower rates and pay off your old mortgage. With this, there's some closing costs associated.

Assuming your old bank doesn't want to lose your business (aka, interest payments), why don't they offer to simply reduce the interest rate on your mortgage to what they're currently offering customers?

Color me crazy, but do you think the pandemic changes the requirements on what it takes to be “successful” in our profession? For example, since everything is virtual now, I feel like the people who have less social skills can get by easily since we’re not in person. There is also likely to be less attrition with work from home, so people can last longer. I just think a virtual world changes a lot of things in our job
