You dirty sink peeing business class flying bastard
Are you the same guy who was contemplating peeing in the wash basin of a jet?
No, D1. Why would anyone do that?
Y'all are like unicorns. I only hear of tall consultants on here, never seen IRL.
Your back is more than likely sore from terrible posture, weak back muscles, anterior pelvic tilt, and poor mobility. A gym membership would solve 99% of your issues.
Why are you in consulting ? Go play in the NBA bro
A4, hopefully it doesn't, but even though it does, I'd rather be alive and healthy than staffed and half dead. I'm in my early 30's and shouldn't be dealing with back and neck pain.
There's another post out here by another 6'7 guy!! :p
I am 6' 7". In my *mind*
Does the firm cover the difference in airfare or does the client?
Ohhh D5, you humongous you... post pictures!
Men are supposed to sit down to pee so sudden turbulence doesn't cause them to pee everywhere. Based on the flights I have been on most do not abide by this and instead pee on the floor. It's why I avoid using airplane lavatories at all costs.
6'7" guy - keep doing you!!
My story:
I got hit by a car 6.5 years ago and during that time made is from straegy consultant to SM. I've had daily pain from the accident. Some days not being able to walk.
Good firms and good leads will do what they can to keep good people.
I also recognize that at work (as well as in most other places in life) many people won't get what you're going through, being tall (for you), getting hit by a car (for me).
I learned that everyone doesn't need to get it. Some people will say "go to the gym", "go do more physical therapy", "you're to young to really have that kind of pain", etc.
I've learned to ignore most of those people and make sure the people most critical (clients and coworkers) understand where they need to provide support for me to keep making them successful.
The better I've been at taking care of my health, the more successful I've been.
It also brings maturity that results in deeper relationships with clients, team leads, and my practice leads. Often I'll tell the client or lead about the accident . A few weeks later, they will tell me all kinds of things about themselves. And our working relationship drastically improves because of our high level of trust. In some ways, it helps the client see me as a trusted adviser. The work is done well + I demonstrate trust, honesty, maturity, and vulnerability.
That was me D1!
OP are you the guy that pees in airplane sinks?
Are you sure that won't work against you for staffing?
Not sure how you guys are so long i am just 10" :P
PwC1, I'm not sure who pays for it.
I'm also 6'7"
A3, 6 hours total travel time, but 4 hours butt-in-seat each way.
