Need advice on if there's anything I can or should do in this situation. Was managing a project for 6mo with a Client contact who was a *major* problem. A couple months ago I flagged partner support bc he was being verbally abusive to a young female Dev, so she was rolled off. It also reached the point with me that he was being so combative I could no longer work productively, was rolled off and Partner was supposed to step in to handle him. Cont
If you’re interviewing for a job, and for the interview you are allowed to expense a meal, is 31.15 too much to expense for a dinner?
Dear Resource Management Team, Do you understand that by sending a complete list of delinquent engagement reviews to ~1700 people, you're handing over nearly our entire Advisory portfolio/client list?
Merrill Advisors - I have a client with an account at Merrill and am told that they have a money fund available which insures up to an aggregate of $5,000,000 in FDIC coverage. Is this a CDARs program and they are misinformed or does such a program exist and what is it called? I was told $5mm in coverage with daily liquidity which obviously wouldn’t apply to CDARs. Many thanks!
I will be joining Google in 2 weeks and want to keep my current Corp number. Does google reimburse for a personal cell or do I have to get a corporate phone ? Also is there a preferred provider in USA?

Hey guys! Has anyone made the pivot from Merchandising to Project Management? I’d love to chat as it is something I am looking to do. Thanks! :)
What are the most effective ways of answering a question that you know you and your team truly don’t have an answer to during a client call? I’m usually pretty direct in saying something like “We’ll circle back on that, but [insert some insight that you can spin as relating to the question]” One or two other managers iv worked with usually try to give a BS answer and I perceive the client as seeing through the BS, which makes me cringe. Which approach do you usually take?
If you book a remote job at a project rate (and had based that rate on available hours during Mon-Fri), but now the client is expecting you to work over the weekend, how would you handle that?
If I use gift cards in booking flights or hotels, can I expense the total amount including that is paid by gift cards?
What’s your current business expense ratio? (What % of your gross revenue goes to business expenses?)
How do you expense room service for a meal? It seems like it would just increase the hotel bill in the expense buffer.
Got medical exam done as part of AOS application. Doctor marked Yes to Class B latent TB and signed off the application. Will there be an impact to my AOS application because of this?
Anyone else tire of the “plant mom” and “dog dad” me too conversation? It seems to be more frequent. For example, company says, “Parents, please share pictures of working from home with your kids during Covid” for a diversity and inclusion project. Undoubtedly someone responds, “what about my plant babies? 🤣”. I don’t want sympathy but I find it childish. Just give us the courtesy of understanding that plants and pets are not the same. Stop “me too’ing”
Do any of you at EY ever have issues actually taking your vacation? Given we work with people across regions on multiple projects at once, who do you ask for approval for longer vacations? I feel like I usually just add it in ARMS and tell people I won’t be there X days. Rarely do I ever get pushback (but rarely do I ever take all my vacation days)
Anyone at ATL Sky Club?
I have an initial phone screen with Accenture coming up. Any advice on how to prepare/ what to expect? I am applying as a 2022 grad interested in the CDP.
Trying to decide exit plan. 3rd yr doing insurance coverage litigation, but not sure if I can spin that into in house or a solo gig that won’t be too much of a pay cut at some point (sole breadwinner with family here). Any ideas or anecdotes to help inspire the next steps?
Single M. Burnt out with extreme work and a micromanaging boss. Taking a week of vacation for July 4th with no plans. Any travel ideas/suggestions for a solo traveler from TX? Flights/hotels can be covered with points to anywhere within US. So no constraints. Any group tour suggestions are welcome too
Hi everyone! I recently accepted a new job with a Big 4 and am also newly engaged. I have a couple of concerns… the main one being that I may not have enough time off for 2022 to cover taking off for the wedding, honeymoon, and then a couple of other weddings where I’m supposed to be a bridesmaid. Do you think there would be any wiggle room with managers allowing time off, or is it generally pretty strict? (Continued in comments)
So when r the comp statements coming?
For those nights where you don’t order in, what are your go-to quick meals (I’m thinking 30 minutes ish)? I’m a big frozen dumplings maker.

Philosophical question (not trying to be political, just a genuine question I’ve been grappling with): do you think being pro-choice and pro-vax mandate are logically inconsistent? Both are sincere views of mine, but upon further reflection I haven’t been able to think of a way one position could be completely defended without undermining the other. Goes the other way for pro life/against vax mandates as well. The fact is, they just feel different to me, but I’m not sure why. Thoughts?
That time you had to book a flight last min, get the middle seat in row 25... and then end up deplaning from the back 💯 May this travel week be equally blessed!
As the only woman on a production surrounded by 5 male creatives, 2 male producers, I’ve been struggling to get myself heard. My opinions and feedback have been so different from everyone else’s. Ironically, my clients are a team of women too. Deep in my gut, I know they’d want what I am asking for. But how do I push for not just what I want, but what I think the client wants.
Kind of a different question ... for those who made the move to PE, any questions or things you wish you would’ve asked / known when you were interviewing that you know now working in the role?
If you get a counsel job in house at a big corporation doing transactional stuff do you have to be barred in the state where you’ll work? Looking at options in Indiana specifically.
