Not sure whether I’m more sick of Cuomo, or the fools who act like he’s some type of hero

If this was so required, why not do it up front to stop the spread from happening, why do it now weeks later when deaths and infections are down, and hospital capacity is up? What an attention seeking clown.

I was OK with social distancing and all this, I get it. In the name of public health. I still went to groceries, picked up food delivery, etc. It was a strong guideline but we could still use our own judgement on how to act.

This overreach pisses me off because it's very enforcible, vs the stay at home stuff. Cops will SEE you out in public without a mask and could presumably cite, fine, or jail you.

Sorry. Not a logical comment. Just an emotional one.

EDIT: Also we somehow went from months ago "Masks don't work" to "You MUST wear masks to go outside" -- absolute BS. Protests out there are completely justified.

I agree with your points SM1. However, think of all your fellow consultants laid off. All the small business suffering in the city. I am lucky still have job.

Nobody even has masks in stock. If we’re all wearing bootleg homemade masks, will that even do anything?

like

Yes homemade mask stop the user from spreading it. So everyone wearing one would help

I am thinking of phased opening of the city. 25 pct capacity of restaurants. Small restaurants with tight sq ft. Order out. We slowly restart new york

Hmmm wonder who will be criminalized for this

Also why not hand out masks? Why not make them more easily accessible then?

Cause the city has no money. All resources are going to hospitals. If you want to be sheltered at home longer then sure Dont wear mask. Economy will suffer more and more people will suffer.

I am 28M. Never had a gf. Met someone through Tinder last year. Started as a sexual fling but eventually I felt she started liking me a lot. Felt a bit guilty and I decided to go in a relationship and she agreed instantly. She is the most nice and down to earth person I know. But I don't get that rush of love for her. I sometimes fantasize with other girls. I don't understand what's wrong with me.

I am a field marketer. I travel and cover 12 states. HQ is across the US on the east coast. My manager put a surprise calendar invite twice now to go to home office without consulting dates to see if we were available. I stood up and asked to be included on available dates and said I will attend virtually but asking me to be away for 4 additional full days away from my family without asking me is not OK. I already travel a lot and this boundary is super important to me. Am I right or wrong?
