A new partner recently joined and my direct manager told the partner that I’d be a perfect person to work on his project. He said no because I don’t have an elite background. He also said “she didn’t go to a top school” in front of everyone (I went to a top public college in the US and he went to one of the top 50 in the UK). Super random q - last year just before lockdown I booked a flight for work and got reimbursed through expense report. Flight got canceled and Airline gave me a credit. I just put in my two weeks last Friday and as I’m booking a flight now, I noticed I have this credit from last year. Should I give this “credit/voucher” to my firm?
