Finally went to therapy and got diagnosed but considered about jumping on medication so focused on doing CBT to see if I can manage. Any success stories using CBT before turning to medication?

Cognitive behavioral therapy? Or cbd? Cbt changed my life and cbd is awesome as well.

I take oil form. It helps with adhd, relaxes me and I way less impulsive and more focused

I’ve had enough. I may or may not have ADHD but I damn think so, as well as people I’ve talked to about it. I know I am smart and can accomplish certain things/tasks, but I literally just can’t get my mind to it sometimes. It was bad in college and only got worse since I started working. How do I go about at least getting tested or what’s the the process? Thank you so much in advance.

I recently switched to Strattera (had been on Adderall for 6 years) to see if it’d help my sleep issues. Been taking for 6 weeks total, almost 4 at the current dose. My focus isn’t too bad, but I’ve been feeling really… blah… and unwell later in the day and not as motivated overall. Also been having more obsessive impulses, though my anxiety seems to be better. Im trying to understand if I have add/adhd and the internet research is pointing towards a yes.

Im still a masters student and worked a bit (which was a disaster due to excel mistakes and inattentiveness) and have been a struggling inattentive and non focused student since ever..

Would you have any recommendations to better evaluate add/adhd or manage it at this point of time?

Ofc I am going to get professional help in due course but just wanted to know from you all.
