I was asked to put together a working plan to obtain my CFF credential. I’m aware of the 2 certificate program (Core and Specialized) through the AICPA that will lead to the CFF. Does anyone have experience in how long it would take to complete the certificates and if there are other necessary or helpful study materials that would be useful? Can anyone advise on law enforcement career tracks for very experienced CPAs interested in (but not experienced in) forensic accounting? I am 36 and going to retire at 41 - I’m done being a manager/leader in my current tax consulting profession. If I had known about law enforcement careers in college I would have gone that route but by the time I discovered it later, I wasn’t willing to start over on salary. Now I can do that. I love solving data puzzles and want to spend more time doing that.
