Does anyone have examples of their invoice template? I’m working a part-time contract for a company, and they do want my time tracked by project. Hoping to not spend time making from scratch.

Anyone familiar with EY Austin audit practice? Culture, client base, busy season hours etc?EY
What’s the most amount of submissions you’ve had to give to client before they accepted a deliverable? I’m on version 15 now and I feel like I’m being played with 😡. Make me feel better 🐠
I inherited a matter from an atty who left the firm and need to tell the client that everything he did on their matter was wrong. Anyone else have this happen?
How do you all make sure you are delivering value and moving the needle on each and every client call? Or is that a pipe dream? :)
Sabotaging the shoot at every opportunity because you’re angry your boyfriend didn’t get to direct it isn’t going to magically make the client trust your creative decisions the next time around.
Why is half of consulting taking what the client already has done and just making it prettier more succinct and selling to another stakeholder in the client org?
Anyone deal w/ having too many cooks in the kitchen? I get tired of so many rounds of feedback & people having differing opinions. How to keep your head up when it happens on almost every project? 😅
Any Project Managers looking to make a move? Hit my up if interested! Should have experience on 360 campaigns. NYC based, but remote for now. Full time gig, starting at $80k/year. Can share more details in DM. Thanks!
Hello! I’m expecting to be travelling to client site shortly, to a financial services client. I’m expecting it to be formal business dress - what brands / clothes do you usually pack for a Mon - Thurs trip? Thinking anti-wrinkle options for fabrics or brands that look good with minimal effort? Have always had local clients so this is a first for me!
I am new to consulting, and I just witnessed (virtually) a staffing conversation between a Partner and Director that a new project was to be staffed based first by identifying how to meet a quota for “diversity consultants” first. Please educate me. Is this the new normal? I am all about diversity in the work place, but I never encountered staffing by an internal diversity quota before.
Anyone’s firm use OTG time for a timesheet? It constantly ruins the time entered into my timers when I switch back and forth. For example, I was billing to a client and had 3.4 hours or so. Then when I switched back to the matter later in the day, it had gone to 5.2. It happens to 3-4 timers throughout the day. What’s the point of having a timer if it doesn’t even properly track time? Anyone have suggestions for a different timer I can use? I end up losing time because I always round down.
Received negative feedback from my manager for the first time, I’ve been working for a few months now and this is the first time it’s happened; over arching theme was quality of work and communications etc. feel really shitty about it and I’m not sure how to deal - any fellow female fishies have words of advice or anecdotal insights, did you manage to turn it around? I really want to do a good job and take this very seriously - def want to leave the project on good terms with the manager
(Referral Request) Hello everyone I’m an A2 and CFA level 1 registered candidate in audit currently. I’ve applied to Experienced Associate roles in Valuation services for EY/PwC and have worked on valuations project in the past as a rotation. Cheetoman loooks seriously worn out at his COVID rally inside a NV church. Making trips to defend red states (IA, NC, GA, FL, AZ) and a trip in between to CA to raise cash will do that to anyone.

Any Recs on financial / investment advisors in Dallas ? Do you guys use folks like chase / Schwab ? Or anyone else?
I’m in audit looking to be promoted to senior in July. Wondering if there’s any reason to stay at my firm for that promotion if my goal is to get away from auditing. Thinking I might end up in advisory or even pivot farther away from accounting in general. Does having that senior title on my resume matter?
Has anyone managed to get a Dropbox appointment in Bangalore? Any insight into wait times to get an appointment? Planning to go to India for a few months in early 2021 and wanted to get my visa stamped.
Does anyone know the average salary for a senior 1 in the fso advisory practise in EY ? How does it compare to deloitte, pwc?
Thinking of making the switch from big law to boutique corporate firm (currently interviewing at Egan Nelson, possibly others). Would love to hear from others who made the switch. Can work life balance really be that much better with a transactional practice? What’s a typical range for comp?
Looking for advice. I am a new manager at a T2 strategy firm. I have been in this role for about 6 months now (was previously in IT implementation consulting), however I still find myself struggling with pace of strategy projects and sometimes even following directions of partners/directors. I now sense frustration in partners and directors, which in turn is leading to more anxiety, ultimately affecting my work. (Contd)
I got selected for interview stage at a FAANG... Even before interviewing, the recruiter is asking for my comp expectations. I dont want to throw out numbers and ranges, but looking for advice here on how do i structure my response to let them know i would like to have a competitive salary as per industry standards (i know for a fact that their base salaries are 30 to 40% more than what i make now ($137k). The reason i dont want to let them know what i make now is so that they dont lowball me
What's the standard BO raise at a BB from analyst level to associate (or equivalent)? 5%? 10%?
Millennials: lazy or simply different priorities? I personally find nothing wrong with a generational culture that encourages work-life balance.
Anyone from OW (or anywhere not MBB) willing to pass on a UG resume for a Black female looking for full-time? (assuming recruiting for FT is still open)
