Completed onsite interviews for the TAM role and recruiter gave me feedback that my technical depth wasn’t up to par for the role but my googleness/leadership and GCA interview feedback was stellar so they plan to propose me for Cloud PM roles instead. Does this happen? Or are they just being nice? What’s the probability that they’ll match me to another role?

Thoughts and Advice on Candidacy withdrawal? Had a great opp for interviewing for L5/L6 targeted role in GCP. Unfortunately after 2 reschedules on my end (surgery and COVID), I ran into a work issue where I was in as-hoc scheduled in critical meetings that conflicted with the my interview slot. I took the hard decision to withdraw rather than request another reschedule as I felt that would be too unprofessional. Was that the right call? Will I get blacklisted or flagged for future applications?
