Have a call with McK recruiter this week Currently a C at Deloitte. 2 YOE at Deloitte. 6 YOE in industry. Masters in US. MBA outside US. What level to target? Is 2nd year/Exp Associate with a 1 year path to EM a possibility? When do performance reviews & promotions take place?
Current CISA. Is it worth getting CFE?
Has anyone come back from being put on a PiP? My colleague just got one and is freaking out - her manager is overallocated like crazy, the other two media planners were laid off, and she’s the only one left standing. Her boss says she’s making too many mistakes - but they’re so short staffed. Any hope, or should she start looking now?
The only shortlists I care about right now are the ones finance is making. Congrats you are not being laid off and have moved to the final round of judging.
Thinking of adding the CISA to my certifications - how has everyone’s experience been? How much will study materials cost? I’m not looking to spend anything lol thanks!
What circumstances have to apply for you to get fired on the spot for getting a job with another big four firm?
Can somebody please explain to me why MBB and other top consulting firms are so adamant that you have an MBA? I majored in accounting, finance, and operations management at a top 10 undergrad business school and then got my masters in information systems from the grad school program. I took multiple MBA courses as electives when getting my masters and it seemed like those classes were very basic and easy. Idk if I would learn anything in an MBA program that I hadn’t already learned in undergrad
It's kinda bullshit that a lot of us worked hard to get into consulting and now have to deal with layoffs. While others are enjoying safe decent paying jobs even though they slack off.
Anyone know of opps for someone with 10+ YOE in sales strategy and operations. Exp includes Leading business/digital transformations focused on BPI, go-to-market strategy & channel optimization. Heavy data/analytics exp focused on customer. Candidate has an MBA.
Hi all! For an experienced hire as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte, what should I expect the salary/sign-on bonus to be at a MCOL city? I have approx. 3.5 YOE (non-consulting), MBA and MS degree (non target school) and also SHRM certified (which is probably irrelevant for the role but thought I’d share anyways). Already did my research but the range is kind of all over the place for experienced hires so just want to have a ballpark. Thanks!
Hi Guys Joined TCS 2 yrs back as IT Analyst , previously worked in Infosys for 4 yrs , so total YOE is 6 yrs . But i want to do executive MBA ( 1 Year Full Time ) now , as i want to move to a managerial role . My question is are there any tie ups with TCS and MBA colleges through which I can accomplish this , as I don't want to leave Job ? If this is possible , whom to contact and what is the process ? Also how much salary will increase after i do TCS sponsored MBA ? Current CTC = 13 Lac
Claim unemployment or try to find your hardest to find a job in the next month and omit the layoff? I want to rush but not settle. Definitely don't want to go back into consulting.
For a non-technical PM looking to get more tech experience (and eventually exit) what is best use of time: data science course, web development course, AWS cert.?
I recently got laid off and decided to go freelance. First agency that reaches out to me for freelance work... the one that had just let me go 🤷🏼♀️

Do all big 4 and larger mid size firms have PIP? How long do they usually last, and does anyone get fired for purely performance reasons without being put on a formal PIP?
Stories of people transitioning into sports management? Interested in hearing strategies to break in after mba and consulting
I’m trying to hop between big 4 consulting roles. Presently, I’m a life science PhD and MBA hire to EY with 3+ YOE as a Senior consultant/associate. Do I have any shot at manager roles assuming I focus on life science roles? I’m concerned my lack of manager title kills any chance I have of joining another firm as a manager.
30,manager IT advisory.Tired of this line of work &want 2move out.May be too late for MBA.Suggestions plz! Not sure if industry is good option &do they offer lateral shift 2different profile once in😓
Deloitte GPS offer: human capital consultant. 5k sign on, 88k base, 13% target bonus. Good offer? 1 year of consulting experience, 1 year of industry.
Had a conversation with a fin-tech stealth startup with seed funding. Role is Chief of Staff to COO, and would focus on refining product market fit for pathway to the A round, with a ton of potential for growth. I’m intrigued, and I wouldn’t have to take a big pay cut on salary, but what else am I missing or should be thinking about?
I’m trying to move to Ireland (from the US). I work in Accounting Advisory Services and would want to do something similar there. Trying to figure out whether it’s easiest to try and do this by going through global mobility within KPMG or just applying for a position at a different firm in Dublin. Anyone have input on which firm is best in Ireland for comp and wlb, ease of using global mobility vs applying for a new job, etc?
Anyone has idea, how many Coronavirus packages and bailouts are left to keep the good news coming and keep the markets inflated?
Why as an A2 in big 4 audit I feel I don’t know anything still. Is this normal? How do you go on to get promoted to senior if you still don’t know anything?
Does anyone have any thoughts about a company terminating an employee within the HR team for testing positive for COVID 19 and further accusing the said employee of being the one that created the entire team to become infected by not answering the health screening questions accurately? The week prior to employee being tested the entire team was in the office sick. The company in question weeks prior wrote the employee up referencing sexual innuendo due to an accusation of a preferred name.

Once laid off by a specific employer, do people ever go back to work for that same employer? For example, all the people laid off from Deloitte, will they ever work for Deloitte again in the future? Assuming there were performance issues.
Anyone went on H1B change of employer with @EY Law, how long did it take for them to respond after submitting documents? Also, how long does it take for them to respond to emails? I am pretty happy since they initiated the case quicker than I expected but my scheduled onboarding date is in ess than 2 months.
Any big Pharma companies hiring for tech project manager remote roles for system implementation?
Hi All— Happy Juneteenth! I got approached about a VP Corp Comms role in NY. This would mean leaving consulting. What do you think is a good asking price in terms of salary?
If you had an opportunity to name your salary and set your billable hours, what would be the ideal ratio per month? Say for example your hourly rate is 400.
2 dudes in TSA Pre in SFO, pockets full of keys, wallet, phone, wireless mic transmitters etc., in last nights clothes & reeking of beer & weed, guy behind me yells at them to hurry the F up...

Can we automatically fire people who say "hi" on Slack and never respond? Its not chat. Slack doesn't interupt your screen if you are presenting. Get with the times, it's 2020. Just tell me what you want!
