What are exit opportunities for Technology Strategy and Transformation besides consulting companies?

I feel like there are very few roles and companies that would find value in the strategy work I do, especially for non executive level roles.

Thoughts on lateraling in this market? I’m a rising second year and know I want to switch practice groups eventually, but don’t want to get delayed another year since I have to start fresh as a first year in a new practice. I'm a paralegal getting my MBA by August 2023. I had an interview for a new position at my current company but in a different department. The new position is to help open new locations across the US including hiring, training, performance, etc. It is heavy travel (75%) going to the new sites. Salary for the new position is $110k and I currently make $85k. No formal offer yet but current department is trying to keep me. ADVICE PLS!

Having a tough time getting a Product Manager interview. I have 3.5 YOE in technology implementations for a startup (my client). First 2.5 years were spent building my clients software, most recent year has been as a project manager for them. A lot of what I’ve done in last year overlaps ProdM responsibilities but I recognize it is a change. Am I reaching too much for a PM role? Running shoe recommendations? I need something that provides a lot of support (knee/IT band issues), and if possible, a shoe with a lacing mechanism that won’t put pressure on the top of my foot. The only shoe that doesn’t cause pain on the top of my foot is the Nike Infinity React, but heel slippage is a big problem. I’ve tried ladder lacing techniques and that hasn’t helped. I've been researching online using AWS or GCP (still learning all the moving parts of architecture). Any advice on how the setup would be? I'm assuming you'd start with some Load Balancers. For Netflix maybe have different different APIs for signing up vs scrolling through possible movies?

I'm a rising senior looking for new-grad roles. I'm looking to go into PM long term. My current internship has an APM role that for many teams is more of a PO role, but still has the PM title and product-facing opportunities.

I also have the chance to go into MBB as a consultant. While the APM role is obviously more relevant, I'm concerned that the tech reputation and bad Product culture will make it not worth it to turn down MBB.

When and who do you follow up with after an interview?

Just had an interview with Comcast for a junior project manager and the pay is between 60-67k…. Does that sound too low?

I interviewed with KPMG friday 8/5. The interviewers told me they hoped to get back to me in a week, by 8/12. I haven’t heard back from them yet. Should I send a follow up email to the interviewers or will that come across as impatient?

What does it mean if the hiring manager says after an interview they will contact you but it might be for a different role within the same team for the job you applied for. Is that a ding?

Am I wasting my time applying to consulting firms with job postings on their site this late? Thinking of just waiting until next cycle after I graduate.
