Interview advice: I’m going into a final interview with the CIO (Information) of an asset management firm for a director of Strategic Ops role (PMO of PMOs) I only have 30 minutes. I’d appreciate input on how to succinctly prove myself here. Background, I’m an SM with a broad FS background but not exclusive to WAM.
Have an interview with an AI company next week. Role is in sales. Recruiter suggested i read Prediction Machines since I have a very introductory knowledge of AI/ML. Since there’s limited time, what short books or podcasts/videos would you all recommend in lieu of prediction machines?

I heard Google is mandating vaccines before returning to work. Is this causing any departures? Googlers appear likely to be pro-vaccine, but I'm open to applying to someone's spot if there will be openings soon.

Is there such thing as too much ass kissing in a job interview? Or everyone likes for the interviewee to do their research and act like they would really like to work for the company and the creative director they are interviewing with?
Lateral interviews. If you got an offer and want to accept, is it better to withdraw from other interviews or just finish them? Does it matter? Asking because I’m hoping (if possible and needed) to still be able to go to these other firms in the future.

For those who are jumping to another Big4, or know someone who has and are interviewing with all the Big4, who is paying the best right now? I’ve referred friends to PwC, but they are getting outbid by kpmg for similar positions by like $25k a year. Anyone else seeing this?
I hate my job so much. It’s like when I’m there I feel like I’m wasting my time like I’m losing money being there. It’s an operations job and quite honestly stayed too long. There are processes where there are 20 things to do just to send the P&L out. It’s such a relic. I am 36 and freaking out because I want to do something new. I’m working 60 hour work weeks because people keep quitting. I’m over it. I’ve been interviewing but just in that waiting period to see what happens. Any advice?
Help! Interviewing for a Senior CW role. Anything specific questions I should ask or will be asked?
In a rapidly growing practice, and perhaps 2 years from (non-equity) “partnership”. I like my team and the work I do, but I’ve only ever been a consultant and am tempted to jump to industry to try it out. Interviewing for a Fortune 20 company and applying to others. Maybe FAANG. Let’s say I’m 60% driven by comp, 40% driven by impact. Am I crazy for looking to leave? Should I just continue to ride this one-way train?
Hi everyone! I will be going through my first whiteboard/case-style interview for the first time (I was converted from an intern to full time at my current company). This marketing associate position would require some level of excel knowledge specifically on Pivot Tables & VLookUps for email campaign analysis. What’s your experience with interviews like these, and any tips for a first-timer? Thank you in advance!

Just moved to a city I don't quite like for an industry job (I like the job a lot), my goal is to move back to my old city to get together with family and friends. I would like to stay in the current company for 6 months before requesting the transfer, should I secure an offer first just in case the transfer request did not go through? Or start interviewing after the denied request?

Hi, could anyone please share any insights on case prep for Consultant role at EY-Parthenon London office?
Another laid off case here. Anyone moving out of US considered keeping the 401K as is instead of withdrawing? Any pros / cons to keep in mind ? Pro I see is no penalty and the fact that it'll continue to grow till I turn 65. Con is that it's a decent size amount in my case and I might need some if that cash if I don't get a job soon 🙄
Starting full-time @ MBB this month. I’m really interested in recruiting growth equity (GE) at some point. I’m pretty familiar with PE recruiting but not sure how growth differs. Anyone have perspective on any of the following: 1- Does GE recruit on cycles? If so what is the typical timing? 2- Are modeling tests standard as part of the interview process? 3- How are consultants perceived in the industry? 4- Do large GE firms utilize headhunters? 5- Do large GE firms have operating roles?

Question is If one resign then on who's pay role that employee is serving notice per?
