Firm is reimbursing 2k for certs - any recommendations from the list? Currently doing RPA/Alteryx/Power BI and want to pivot towards DS/AI/ML with a splash of data management and RPA. Have prior coding exp in R/SQL/Python. TIA

Haven't heard about the data management and modeling ones, but given your interest, you should focus on the DA-100, DP-100 and supplement with AZ-900 if you want a broader understanding of Azure. I believe the AZ-900 can be skipped. The MSCE and MSCA are deprecated at the end of January and the rest are unnecessary, unless you will need to learn data engineering too.

Which firm? And is it 2k per cert or in total?

GT. Up to 2k for one cert

Msft only? 🤢

Nope there are other certs, these are just what I picked that focused on DS / data mgmt. Are there any non MSFT DS certs not on this list you recommend?

Hi everybody! 😊
I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.
I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?
Next year, there will be an important deadline for the project I'm working on and my resignation could be critical for the team, how would you deal with it?

I didn’t complete a W-9 last year for my ESPP and was getting charged 24% each time I sold shares last year (about 4 times). Towards the end of the year I competed the W-9 and taxes weren’t being taken out when I sold. The Firm that handles the ESPP said that I should get some of the money back because I was overtaxed, but I’m wondering how to go about this. Is this something that I should include in my tax return?

What are you opinions on “Women in XYZ” groups that have surfaced. Totally understand the problem of less female representation in Tech but is this the right way to solve this problem. It makes sense when you are deprived of the opportunity because of existence of uneven playing field. But lately, feels like more of a branding thing as people using this as a medium have had much more means than many of their counterparts I have come across.
