I’m in France and there are some things here that I wish were implemented in the United States

1) People here exercise more and eat healthier - most people here are fit and in good shape as a result.

2) nude statues are considered the best artwork (like everything in the Louvre). People are more comfortable with the human body without making everything sexual. As a result women also aren’t expected to wear bras here which I think would be nice (I’m a woman)

Offer letter doesn’t spell out RSU vesting schedule and the recruiter doesn’t seem to know what she’s talking about. Is it reasonable to refuse to sign until I have information on vesting schedule in writing? Fairly sure it’s a standard 25% per year for 4 but I don’t want to find out later that vesting starts slow and ramps up later 4 or something.

A recruiter reached out to me about company with two roles open. PM and an Account Manager. The recruiter is trying to convince me that the positions are lateral at this firm and the only difference is the client facing aspect. She recommends going for the PM role to get in the door.. then I can “quickly move up”. I’ve been held down for a while at previous agencies so I can’t fall for the bait & switch again. How can I shift the conversation w.o ruining my shot?
