My toddler (17 months) still isn't walking independently. He walks (even runs) holding onto our finger and gets super anxious when we try to let go. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I just received an email from someone I never met who applied to a position in my company. In the email he asked me to push his application to HR and a 30 minute call to talk about my experience. I find it a bit off pushy considering I don’t know his qualifications at all. Usually when someone reaches out on LinkedIn I will respond. How do you guys approach this?

Any tips on how to deal with Dominant style personalities? I’m an Influential style personality and work in an environment were bluntness, aggressiveness, etc. are valued and seen as cool as opposed to the warm, empathetic style I prefer to employ. I’m reflexively diplomatic and collaborative but I feel that it comes across as soft and even frowned upon, especially being a man.
