This is wild coming from the ceo of the company that tells other companies how to bust unions and defeat labor organizing.

Do you have a link for this / evidence? I’d love to read more if this is true

Is it ACN that now has the slowest reaction to support our people? Lots of talk of flexibility, but haven’t seen the reality of it.

They lowered our rollover PTO, no additional days off over major holidays when B4 all seem to have done it, they reduced pay last cycle with a 1x bonus less than the decrease and only gave raises to people promoted rather than those experienced at level, a $250 wfh credit opened Apr ‘21, talk of increasing salaries to the next level/yr of experience by COL despite being less than many competitors.

Did you get proper raise last year? Deloitte did not pay much last year, they compensated that this year.

How much savings does a 40 year old realistically need to retire?
For sake of discussion, let’s assume house is paid off, need to purchase decent healthcare, you have a healthy 401k, and are single with no kids.

I’ll guess that you need at least $500,000?

Prosecutor here considering career shift. I’m a first year DA making $87k in CA and have very good work/life balance + benefits. I’m passionate about the work but honestly need to make more to buy a house/someday raise a family in OC area. Any former prosecutors here feel the same way? Any insight from those in private sector re: higher pay but (possibly) worse hours? Considering L&E or plaintiff PI

Does anyone have goals of investing their earnings to buy real estate? From doing tax work you see the potential in building a real estate portfolio, but lately I’ve been having doubts about it even being worth doing if you don’t have the real estate professional status with the IRS. Have any of you actually had feelings for someone at work? How do you handle it?

Perhaps this is a broader question about how to date non ad people too. It can be hard to match lifestyles

I accepted an offer from Morgan Stanley in mid-October. Currently in the background check process for them but 3 years ago I was arrested for something that was dismissed by a judge & not reportable to FINRA. Obviously when they ran my background check this came up and I was questioned by MS HR. I provided them everything they asked for a week ago but I have still not heard anything about a start date or if they'll rescind the offer. Has anyone experienced this? Seems like their process is taking longer.

Funny how conservatives complain that big tech censors their thoughts, while the same people have been censoring the votes of minorities in this country for decades.

A lot of tranings in the beginning, and lots of personal staff related to relocation, also consultants in team could not work independently(new to firm, no prior experience) so, I was not able to manage the project as expected. After elevating multiple times, manager told that he understands the situation but gave a low score as a feedback in the end. What to do?
