I’m a Medicaid Consultant for my state with 10 years of experience. My job entails policy and procedures, data analysis, training and working with local government entities and private providers. I want to break into the private sector (Consultation/Business) as the pay is much higher and I have a better chance getting promoted. I have a masters but it’s in psychology, I’m wondering if I should obtain an MBA or should I get certifications? Thoughts?

Switching pediatricians? Hi, mom of an infant here and considering switching peds. We love our actual doctor, however the support staff are disorganized and the communication is poor. We also wait minimum an hour after our appointment time (e.g., we arrived at 11:22 for an 11:30 appt and did not see the doc until 12:47.) The exam rooms are pretty run down (scuffed paint, peeling fabric) and the front desk team is pretty grumpy. Is it bad if we switch? Are my expectations unreasonable?
Hi, I'm looking for a paid ads mentor to help me hone this skill. Any leads would be appreciated. *If another bowl is more appropriate, please let me know.
I was supposed to go on vacation this week but a case I’m on blew up and my boss basically pretended to forget about my vacation and kept expecting me to be available this weekend/next week. I emailed him this a.m. a nice short email saying “I love this job but I do need vacation. I haven’t taken a week off since I started a year and a half ago. I’d like to reschedule for later in March, can we make it work?” He responded “sure” several hours later. I’m annoyed. Is this annoying or am I crazy?

Hello all! I have been applying for jobs recently and I’m struggling. There are many positions that have sparked my interest, but I don’t know what level of jobs I should be applying to as far as role, title, and pay. I have attached my edited resume in the comments (leaving out some of my personal information) and was hoping to get some feedback on what job role, title, and pay you would deem appropriate for someone with my experience. Thanks in advance!!

How should I list software skills on my resume that I have familiarity with but aren’t highly skilled in? For example, used R in one class, but wouldn’t say I’m an expert. Or used Salesforce for an internship- but just to edit lead sources for new logos? Have heard to put “novice” next to these skills? How should I format that?

I am looking to buy my first home. Do you think I could get a 200,000$ mortgage loan for my first home? I have a 720 credit score and am in no debt. Steady job making 48 hours weekly. Getting paid 20$ and hour.
I have two job offers, one offers a salary of 61.5k and the other job offers an hourly rate of $27.65 with $41.48 for OT, as well as Sales Incentive Compensation Plan where the annual target incentive compensation is 42.86%. In other words, I could potentially receive quarterly bonuses that add up to around $24,650. However, that bonus isn’t guaranteed according to the offer letter and is contingent on my and my clients performance. Should I take the first job or second job?

I'm going into a post-MBA Strategy Consulting (Internal) role, and I've never done fancy excel modeling before in life. I'd highly appreciate it if anyone could point me to good resources to learn this - be it a book, online courses, or anything else you think may be useful.
What I'm seeking to learn overall:
1. How to build a clean, logical, easy to review Excel model
2. How to improve written communication, particular to senior executives
3. How to make better slides
