We’re looking for a Senior Digital Strategist. Hoping to hire by the end of August.
Remote optional until at least October.
I have a roommate. We both work from home. Is it rude for him to have his whole set up in our living room/kitchen area while I have mine in my room? It’s very inconvenient because I have to be quiet in the kitchen and can’t take/bring calls out in the kitchen/living room. Am I just being an asshole or would this bother others too?

Im trying to decide whether or not to send my baby to daycare vs have a nanny when he is 6 months old. I was calling daycare centers (Austin) and one of the owners gave me her “personal opinion” and said babies immune systems can’t handle it and are constantly getting sick right now bc of Covid, RSV, etc. I heard daycare is great because they do need to build an immune system, the socialization is great, and more toys vs what you have at home. Thoughts on which care option is better? I’ll be WFH

After two months now of relatively consistent travel, I’ve realized how much more efficient one can be WFH. How did the work ever get done pre-covid?!
I have worked in Higher Ed for the last 20 years, 15 at the same college. I have been overlooked and boxed in my jobs because I am basically the only person that does my job. The pandemic opened my eyes to a lot and I realized, I prefer being remote and its well past overdue for me to leave this field. Now that I have chosen to search I have gotten a promotion. This will not stop me. My focus is in project management but at the moment I have gotten rejections and ghosted. Any suggestions?
