Sooo ready for the holiday party on Friday.
Just recieved a offer from Western Alliance Bank for a Senior Business Analyst role. Comp 100k but the role would be in office. I currently work remote, have unlimited PTO,and a really healthy work life balance but am being underpaid tremendously. The new role seems like it does not have healthy work life balance and many red flags have already come up. I want to grow my skills and wouldn't mind being in office as I do miss being around people. How do I vet the role before accepting?

3 weeks is def doable assuming you're just shaking off the rust. The challenge will be finding quality case partners - a must for prep - during the holidays.
If you're truly serious, may want to consider paying for coaching and doing 1-2 sessions a week.
Finding a good case partner should be OK. Never truly formally studied for case interviews (I kind of winged them in undergrad tbh), but I have a pretty good understanding of how they work and will just need to thoroughly practice (and practice correctly).
Perhaps will consider the coaching part. Thanks!
Totally possible. It all depends on how comfortable you are with cases and if you have ideas for your personal fit stories. In total I took 3-4 weeks to prep the first time I had to do the case interview (maybe an hour a day, no cases the day before I interviewed) and got to a final round, and then did 2 cases to shake the rust off the following year when I got the offer. I’d just say don’t underestimate the fit part of the interview.
thank you!!
Have you asked to push timeline back?
I'd say do it now while you have bandwidth and can give yourself a fair shot with prep, sleep, and fewer competing priorities.
