Hello guys I joined Accenture 3 months back as PBI specialist from a non technical background. Now I am considering a change in role/job since I am not liking it much. What do you guys think about this move? I understand that future firms will not take this on a very positive note. But here I will have to wait for 9 more months for a change in role.
Also what is the notice period during probation. Accenture

Early on in my career I was told... you will be promoted when the people who report into you are promotable. Teach, explain why you are asking for something, give room to contribute (even if it means more work for you for a little while). It may also be a tough transition if you are now a level up of your friends. There is a way to keep your good friends without getting caught in gossip or playing favorites. And finally, keep your boss aware of not only what you are doing but when your associates kick ass too.
I’ve had a number of supervisors over the past few years and the best ones have cared about my development and me as a person (not just the work).
If you can demonstrate the latter two things, — helping with their goals, planning big “at bats”, etc. — I’m sure they’ll love working for you.
Be the manager you wish you had when you were starting out. That's it.
Listen and keep learning
Don’t try to be everyone’s friend. Don’t be a dick but they want your guidance and level-headedness, not your friendship.
Supervise, and supervise well.
Watch their backs. Take all the blame. Give all the credit.
Trust your people
Both parties need each other to be successful. Recognize the responsibility you have in that equation and work to deliver—it’s your job, not optional. Recognize they’re accountable as well. If they’re not contributing it’s bad for you and other team members. Have the courage to address it and, if needed, let them go.
Be sure to mentor and always be teaching. And provide your team with feedback always
Don't be afraid to hire people that are better than you, even if it makes you scared for your own job. It'll only reflect better on you to mentor amazing people.
Were there promotions at SF recently?
Provide compliments alongside constructive feedback. Always have your team's backs.
You're doing a good job if your peeps are getting promoted. Put them in positions to succeed. Remember when you were a youngin, and what it was like. Peeps respect you for staying in the shit with them. Have a system, have process, have rationale, have high standards. Good enough sucks.
Learn to let people do things the way they do them.
Think about all of the asshole bosses you had before - don't be them. Don't micromanage and trust your team. Work on both their strengths and weaknesses. Get them out of their comfort zones and challenge them to be the best at something.
