Compared to facilities which company (Samsung and Intel) provides best facilities? I know Intel has lot of benifits like free cab, child day care reimbursement, telephone bill reimbursement, 15% discount on shares purchase, very good leave structure, Free UDEMY for developing skills, Intel wiki for lot of knowledge gathering etc... Any idea about samsung? Intel Corporation Samsung

Get whatever makes you happy or smile! Pregnancy is difficult IMO, and if splurging helps, go for it! Personally, I did not but any maternity tops but bought 2 plus size leggings and they have been working well! I haven't gained any weight till now and with wfh, have been able to manage on limited maternity shopping! Oh! I did splurge on maternity photo shoot dress, and it was ummm an impulse buy to get my hormones happy!
Love this mentality!

Splurge on your baby mattress!! Newton is amazing!

Wondering why this is something so many on here rave about. I think i saw its like $300? My first kid got a $90 mattress from online and we have had no issues so for this next one im curious about newton

Comfort was key for me, especially in these Covid times where I don’t need to impress anyone with my appearance. I avoided jeans, but splurged on Lululemon align leggings- it’s not actually maternity but stretched really well and lasted until the last 2 weeks or so before I gave birth. So comfortable and luxurious. It was awesome postpartum too

I actually didn’t size up, but they’re so accommodating you’d probably be fine either way.

Personally i dont think any splurging needs to happen unless you plan to be pregnant many times.
I got jeggings (motherhood mat), black tights, 3 t shirts, a tank top, underwear, and a robe cause i wanted a new one. It all adds up so fast. Then you have shirts for breastfeeding and two-three more sizes of clothes for while you get back to your pre-baby body... if you do.
personally my first pregnancy i ended up with so many different size clothes i cant wear anymore. It is ridiculous & wasteful and i regret it.
Now im pregnant again and not gaining even half the amount as my first so i will still not be able to wear the big stuff i bought last time.
My only regret is not buying maternity jeans earlier in my pregnancy! 💯 worth the investment. I bought maternity jeans from Nordstrom (1822). The jeans were $50 at Nordstrom compared to $30 at Target. Worth the extra $20! Never heard of the brand 1822 🤷🏻♀️ still love the jeans! Can’t speak to madewell jeans.
These jeans are so great!
Wrap dresses which can be cute during and after pregnancy
Serafine is a little pricey but has flattering maternity clothes - also a great few pairs of beyond the bump (beyond yoga) pants and tops are great - I’ve had my twins now and lost the baby weight but can still get use out of the yoga clothes and a few of the serafine staples ! If you live somewhere cold the serafine long maternity coat is worth it! I also did rent the runway when pregnant so as not to buy many work pregnancy clothes but still have a good set options - it was definitely worth it but wouldn’t be necessary during covid
Serephine is amazing! Love my stuff from there.
I got three pairs of maternity jeans from GAP at $30 and loveeee them
I just got a bunch of oversized blouses which I’m happy I did because I can still wear them. I also LOVE hatch dresses. Theyre a bit of a splurge. They’re maternity but I’ve been wearing them for years before I got pregnant. I also just had one good pair of jeans and 2 pairs of work pants and called it a day. Rent clothes if you need something more formal
Loved mine; j crew had a good version at the time. I also wore them for a bit postpartum. I didn’t buy any maternity specific tops, dresses or coats so I didn’t feel bad buying.
I ordered joggers from Amazon and they are so comfortable! Also had other moms give me their hand me downs. I dont plan on being pregnant again any time soon

Designer jeans were my best splurge and I ended up wearing them through three pregnancies, but it would have been worth it even if it was just one. Unless you're lucky and gap maternity fits you perfectly or something, go for something you really feel great in. Pregnancy will change your body in unexpected ways, you deserve to still look and feel great in your jeans!
I’d recommend not splurging when pregnant and instead splurge after you’ve had the baby! You’ll get lots of gifts and new clothes for the baby, so it will be nice to have some extra saves to pamper yourself.

I’ve really tried to not buy that much, especially since I’m home. I’ve probably spent less than $150 total and I don’t plan to buy more (I’m 28 weeks). I bought everything from Motherhood Maternity. I initially bought below the bump leggings and 1 pair of jeans but now I need the support so bought 2 more leggings and 1 pair of jeans (full panel). I watched for sales though. Shirts I could wear until around 25 weeks (just a bit tight). I have a few staples from motherhood maternity. That’s it!
I waited on buying jeans but honestly wanted them because I felt more human.

I’m lucky to get away with just dresses with the CA weather. So I just got some lose fit dresses (not maternity dresses) and just get by with those throughout the entire pregnancy. Maternity clothes are expensive and only fit for few months..
I got myself a belly band from Ingrid and Isabel! Maybe not really in the splurge department, but saved me in the long run, as I was able to keep using my regular work slacks until I was 7 months pregnant (had to travel and be onsite back then).
ASOS also has good soft maternity dresses.
Buy a great pair of jeans, a good pair of yoga pants up one size and then do rent the runway maternity subscription for 2-3 months. You’ll be set!
I am 30 weeks, and I bought a few $20 tent dresses from H&M for the summer. Now, I live in a pair of gifted Hatch lounge pants, a gifted pair of gap maternity leggings, and a gifted pair of Hatch leggings. My goal was to spend as little as humanly possible - thanks to COVID, that was more than possible lol.
A little bit of both would be my recommendation:
Splurge:
- Jeans that don't fall down (H&M are amazing and cheap, Madewell and Nordstrom also great)
- Maternity work wear (if you need it) that you feel good in. I bought a few nice dresses from Serephine and I really miss wearing them.
Save:
- T-shirts, camisoles, oversized sweaters, and anything fast-fashion you won't likely wear again (assuming you want more kids). These things are easy to find on sale and aren't super flattering no matter what you spend.
I got a membership to Le Tote and rented a lot of my maternity clothes. I bought a few staples (mostly pants) but got most of my cute tops and dresses from Le Tote. I’d highly recommend and plan on doing again if I have another.
