Due to COVID impact on my family, I had to take a long break (10 months) from work, went back to the home country and be with them. Since things are settled now I would like to get back to work. I have over 9 years of experience and on H1-B visa. How should I justify the gap to the recruiters? What kind of questions can I expect?
Scared about going back to the office and flying for work. I was fine pre covid, but I recently developed sebhorreic dermatitis and I’m a month and half into treatment and I still have no control of it. I’m scared I won’t have it taken care of considering I’m constantly switching shampoos for it. My number one fear is having a flare up at work. This condition has also affected my performance working from home. I have no clue how I will handle in person. Considering quitting because of this
Got soft locked today to my next project. I wrap up current one tomorrow then am off 2 weeks for pto. I have no desire to get back to the grind and want to turn this down "politely" without burning bridges. Any advice?

Completed a few take home case interviews (decks and spreadsheets) on company laptop. Will I run into any legal trouble with my current firm for doing this?
Big 4. Last year was a promotion year for me, and I killed it. Got the promo, the highest performance rating, a 15% raise, and a 20% bonus.
Is implementation work so different from strat? I worked in multiple projects where the client was ex-MBB and they had no clue on how the implementation works.
Has anyone considered doing a part time MBA while still working in consulting? Or if you know of anyone who has done it? Want to understand if it’s a good or bad idea. Thank you in advance 🙏🏽.
How are you liking WFH? Personally I'm so happy that I don't have to travel and slug it out
Does the KPMG Cybersecurity practice really travel 80%-100% of the time or is this up to that percentage amount? Do you think after COVID it will go back to this or be reconsidered to a lower percentage?

Thoughts on using an offer from another big 4 to transfer groups within your current firm? How often does your firm tell you to just leave vs. granting the transfer?
Has anybody interviewed with Twitter before for project management roles? Any idea what the pay is like and what to expect from their interview process?
Genuinely asking… Why is the media clamoring about COVID infection rates? I thought we only cared about infections because infections x A = hospitalization rate; and hospitalization rate x B = death rate However, in this wave both A and B have declined substantially given the vaccination rate. But the media doesn’t seem to be talking about it. The UK has the Delta wave a few weeks before us and is not seeing infection rates decline. Am I missing something? Genuinely asking.
Does anyone have advice about helping your kids through video conferencing anxiety? My 6 year old normally loves taking, happily volunteers to speak at school assemblies is completely freaked out by classroom zoom discussions. Says that “talking on a computer is weird” and he’s anxious to the point of tears.
