TurboTax works very well if that is your only change.

Another endorsement that you're good with TurboTax 👍

Have you thought about refinancing? If not, I can introduce you to someone who can help you with this! She’s amazing!

We’re at the end of refinancing and my loan officer wants a letter indicating what my federal student loan payments will be after the forbearance is over. My last recalculation happened in 2019, so I gave him that letter but he says it’s too old. The loan verification letter from Fedloan reflects just $0 payments and $0 due, in forbearance until September. Has anyone else run into this and if so, how did you get around it? I could write a letter explaining but not sure what else to do. TIA

Hey Fishes - I bought a house recently and chose a house elevation even though I dislike it. Sales mgr stressed that no units next/opp should have same elevation/color. I tried my best to convince her and had to settle with current elevation. But, in new lots sold, I see 4 units next to each other have same elevation. I’m mad right now as I wasn’t allowed even after long discussions. Now that my house is in construction stage, can I do something to change elevation? How do I address this issue?

So I’ve been sitting on $40k in cash for last 2 months given my certainty of the economy (stupid move in retrospect). This is a small portion of my overall savings / investments but interested to see what folks think I do with the $40k based on where the market is today. Feels nuts to throw it in at an all time high, but I said that last month and look what happened haha.

First time landlord with a house in an unattractive part of town. I’ve found I can rent to young professionals by the room for a total of $3200 or rent the whole house for around $2800. The problem is young professionals end up wanting flexible leases, and in the whole house rental market, I end up relying on vouchers. What’s the better strategy?
